Opioid Harm Reduction

OPIOID HARM REDUCTION

Anyone aged 13-years old and up can now become an Opioid Harm Reduction Champion with the Canadian Red Cross. This free 30-minute course will help you learn what opioids are, how they work and how to help someone experiencing an opioid poisoning emergency.

We also provide you with some social media tools to help reduce the stigma of opioid poisonings. Opioid Champions are the voice for all Canadians and are encouraged to share, post, tweet and chat with their family and friends about this important information. You Can Help Save A Life!

How you can support opioid harm reduction:

  • Share information about how to become an Opioid Harm Reduction Champion with your contacts.
  • Share the link to our landing page (redcross.ca/OHR) on your website an/or social channels.
  • Follow Canadian Red Cross social accounts and engage with our opioid harm reduction content.
