Snow Lake Landfill Hours

The Snow Lake Nuisance Grounds are located just outside of town on #392 and are open the following hours effective August 2013:

Tuesday        11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Wednesday   11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Thursday       11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Friday            11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Saturday       11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
 

Garbage Pickup

Uptown  and Brentwood Residential:
Monday & Thursday

Sunset Bay Subdivision and Trailer Park: Tuesday & Friday

Please place your garbage containers adjacent to the road on pick up days. Bills are issued quarterly by the Town for residences and businesses,
and monthly for the trailer court.
 

Recycling

The Snow Lake Recycling Program has set up a recycling trailer on Cedar Avenue next to Stittco.

Recyclables can now be deposited in the marked bins.

Recyclables:

Newspaper, flyers, magazines, cereal boxes, paper towel rolls, all kinds of paper, drink cans, steel or tin cans, glass jars and bottles, plastics with a #1, 2, 4, 5 or 7 on them, pop bottles, milk jugs and cartons, and juice boxes.
Sears catalogues can not be accepted but can be returned to the Sears outlet.

Telephone directories cannot be accepted whole. If you remove the glue backing, the separated pages and covers can be accepted. Discard the glue backing.

Unwanted household paint and paint aerosols as well as small personal use batteries collection centre in Snow Lake is Snow Lake Home building Centre.
