AIR SERVICE
The Snow Lake Airport is located 15 kilometres/ 9.5 miles east of the town of Snow Lake and occupies a land area of approximately 209.5 hectares (518 acres). The airport is served by Gogal Air Services. 

Airport Owner and Operator
The airport is operated and owned by the Town of Snow Lake. 

Airport Operating Conditions
The Snow Lake airport operates during daylight hours only. The airport is not suited for IFR operations (not suitable for traffic during bad weather or darkness). Check weather condition reports in Flin Flon or The Pas for the weather report most accurate to the Snow Lake airport, or contact our Transportation and Utilities Manager at (204) 358-0128 / tu_mgr@outlook.com 

Airport Operations
The runway is unpaved (gravel) and it’s dimensions are 3510 x 75 ft. Location identifier is CJE4. It is only suitable for lighter aircraft. The largest airplane that the local Carrier operates is a 2006 Cessna Grand Caravan although Citation commuter jets use the runway for emergency medical Evac.
The runway surface is a compacted gravel.  Runway lights can be lit by request in emergencies or due to weather-dependent re-directs ONLY with notice by calling (204) 358-0128 after office hours.  
Notice is required to enable time for personnel to travel out to the airport to enable lighting and, if necessary, to clear the runway of accumulated snow.
